Philanthropy

Philanthropy is at the heart of our chapter. We are deeply committed to Supporting Domestic Violence Awareness, Alpha Chi Omega's national philanthropy.

A super meaningful way that we connect with our  philanthropy here at Delta Psi is through partnering with Domestic Violence Solutions (DVS), a local shelter that provides safety and support for domestic violence survivors. As college-aged women, we recognize how relevant Domestic Violence Awareness is within our community and beyond. We have the unique opportunity to have a tangible impact by directly supporting survivors, advocating for education and prevention, and fostering a safer, more supportive environment.

Throughout the year, we hold a variety of philanthropic events that directly support this cause. Some our our favorite annual events include Divas for DVS, a drag show fundraiser, as well as assembling menstrual care kits for residents at the local shelter, educational tabling, selling donuts at the Arbor, Pie an Alpha Chi, and more. We also host a Fraternity and Sorority Life wide volleyball tournament and "Run a Mile in their Shoes" to engage the Greek community while raising funds and awareness for DVS!​
